Agreement

By installing or using Lecta, you agree to these terms. If you are installing Lecta on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

What Lecta Provides

Lecta connects to your Slack workspace and provides AI-generated daily summaries of selected channels, along with a chat interface to ask questions about channel history. Summaries are generated using third-party AI services and may not be perfectly accurate.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your team before connecting channels to Lecta.
  • You must have the appropriate Slack workspace permissions to install third-party apps.
  • You agree not to use Lecta to process content that violates applicable laws.

Your Data

You retain ownership of all content processed by Lecta. We claim no ownership over your Slack messages or the summaries generated from them. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

AI-Generated Content

Summaries and chat responses are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. Lecta is a productivity tool, not a source of truth. You should verify important information against original Slack messages.

Availability

We aim to keep Lecta available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.

Limitation of Liability

Lecta is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lecta.

Termination

You can stop using Lecta at any time by uninstalling it from your Slack workspace. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lecta after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
